Privacy Policy for the Use of Dantaxi and Apps
This privacy policy explains how Dantaxi4x48 A/S (“we” or “us”) processes your personal data.

Description of Processing
Purpose
Booking and delivery of taxi rides via phone, 4×48 app, or the internet.
The personal data is used to carry out bookings and deliver taxi rides.

Categories of Personal Data
We process the following categories of personal data about you:
General personal data:

  • Name, address, email, phone number
  • Most frequent pickup addresses
  • Pickup address for the specific ride*
  • Destination for the specific ride
  • Eurobonus number
  • Previous rides
  • Images from camera surveillance in taxis
  • GPS information for rides taken
  • Information about time and price for rides taken
  • Payment method details
  • Information you provide regarding special requests for the ride, such as bicycles, animals, or others
  • Reference number or project number (for account rides)

Sensitive information:

  • Health information – special requests related to the ride

For citizens transported at the request of a municipal or other public authority under the Social Services Act, we also process CPR numbers.

  • Camera surveillance in taxis
  • GPS monitoring of taxis

Legal Basis for Processing
We process your personal data as described above based on the following legal grounds:

  • Article 6.1.b (necessary for the performance of a contract to which you are a party)
  • Article 6.1.c (necessary for Dantaxi 4×48 A/S to comply with a legal obligation; specifically, Dantaxi 4×48 A/S’s obligations under Law No. 1538 of 19/12/2017, § 20)
  • Article 6.1.f (necessary for pursuing our legitimate interest in providing a good and efficient service and optimizing the utilization of our fleet)
  • Article 9.2.a (consent)
  • Article 9.2.f (necessary for establishing, exercising, or defending legal claims)
  • § 11 of the Data Protection Act regarding CPR numbers.

Recipients
We may share your personal data with:

  • Group companies
  • The driver who will perform the ride
  • Suppliers that support our business, including IT suppliers
  • The company or authority that pays for your ride with us

Storage
We will store personal data as long as necessary for the purposes mentioned.
Order information is retained as long as you are an active customer with us and for 24 months thereafter. You are considered an active customer if you have booked a vehicle with us within the last 12 months. Thus, personal identifiable information is deleted up to 36 months from the end of the month in which you last booked a vehicle with us.
Information about rides taken (start and end addresses, as well as price) is anonymized after 24 months.
Your three most frequent pickup addresses are stored along with your phone number to quickly and automatically offer you a taxi when ordering, for up to 36 months from booking.
Invoices and payment information are stored in accordance with accounting laws for 5 years from the end of the year to which the transaction pertains.
Customer data collected via the 4×48 app is deleted 24 months after the last order.
Images from camera surveillance are deleted after 30 days.

Purpose
Handling Complaints
Personal data is used to process complaints about rides provided by us.

Categories of Personal Data
We process the following categories of personal data about you:
a) General personal data:

  • Name, address, email, phone number
  • Information about the incident you are complaining about
  • The other party’s description of the incident you are complaining about
  • Recordings of phone calls between the customer and the dispatch center, as well as conversations between the vehicle and the dispatch center
  • Video recordings from the taxi’s surveillance camera to the extent relevant.
  • GPS information for the ride to which the complaint pertains, if relevant

  • Directly from you
  • From others who order rides on your behalf, including public authorities
  • TV surveillance in taxis
  • GPS monitoring of taxis

Legal Basis for Processing
We process your personal data as described above based on the following legal grounds:

  • Article 6.1.c (necessary for Dantaxi 4×48 A/S to comply with a legal obligation; specifically, Dantaxi 4×48 A/S’s obligations under Law No. 1538 of 19/12/2017)
  • Article 6.1.f (necessary for pursuing our legitimate interest in being able to handle complaints from customers to ensure that it is safe and secure for our customers to use our services and that our customers are treated fairly and in accordance with applicable law)
  • Article 9.2.f (necessary for establishing, exercising, or defending legal claims)

We may share your personal data with:

  • The person or persons you are complaining about
  • The Taxi Complaints Board
  • The police

Storage
We retain personal data collected in connection with a complaint for 24 months, or, if the case has been forwarded to the police, as long as necessary for the case.

Purpose
Telephone Calls
Personal data is processed for training and education purposes as well as in connection with handling complaints and quality assurance.

Categories of Personal Data
For training and education purposes and for the handling of complaints, phone calls between you and the company may be recorded.

  • Article 6.1.f (necessary for pursuing our legitimate interest in training our staff to ensure that it is safe and secure for our customers to use our services, and that our customers are treated fairly and in accordance with applicable law, as well as correct ride instructions)

We may share your personal data with:

  • The police
  • Employees of Dantaxi A/S
  • Suppliers that support our business, including IT suppliers (Finn Frogne A/S)

Storage
Phone calls that are recorded and contain personal data are retained for 3 months. In specific cases – for example, where the recording is used in connection with a complaint – retention may occur for a longer period, in accordance with the other retention periods in this policy.

Mandatory Information
*Information about the pickup address is mandatory. If you do not provide this information, we will not be able to pick you up.

Other information is voluntary; however, failure to provide information may – where relevant – reduce the service we provide to you or – in connection with handling complaints – affect the outcome of our complaint handling process.

Your Rights
You have the following rights:

  • You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data.
  • You also have the right to object to the processing of your personal data and to have the processing restricted.
  • Specifically, you have an unconditional right to object to the processing of your personal data for direct marketing purposes.
  • If the processing of your personal data is based on your consent, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. Your withdrawal will not affect the legality of the processing carried out prior to your withdrawal of consent.
  • You have the right to receive the personal data you have provided in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format (data portability).
  • You can always lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, such as the Data Protection Agency.
  • You can exercise your rights by sending a message via the contact form at https://dantaxi.dk/kontakt-taxi/, where you can also withdraw your consent.

There may be conditions or limitations to these rights. Therefore, it is not guaranteed that you have, for example, the right to data portability in a specific case – this depends on the specific circumstances related to the processing activities.
